The rally comes a day after Apple Inc. AAPL, +5.78% posted stronger-than-expected quarterly earnings and iPhone sales that met expectations. The stock rose in premarket trading and was on track to open at a record level. The tech giant is the market’s largest stock by market capitalization, which means it has an outsize weight on the overall moves of all three major indexes. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average YMU7, +0.25% were up 46 points, or 0.2%, to 21,951. The blue-chip benchmark DJIA, +0.22% is on track for its seventh straight daily rise, its longest such streak since February. On Tuesday closed up 0.3% at 21,963.92, its fifth straight closing record.via
